Laser Wand crystals are thicker at the base than the tip. The termination is usually quite small in comparison to the rest of the point. While the body of the point may not be curved, the edges of the sides are often curved and heavily lineated. Here’s a graphic to help you see these 3 prominent features:
Lemurian Seed Crystals are usually (but not always) in the shape of a Laser Wand.
Now that we know what a Laser Wand IS, what kind of energy do they typically have? The energy of a Laser Wand crystal is very precise and focused. Really, the description of the energy is in the name itself. “Laser” represents the extremely fine focus of these crystals, and “Wand” represents both the shape as well as the application. Laser Wands are good in both inner and outer work. I find them to have a very precise, narrow focus. Imagine writing with a mechanical pencil versus a crayon. To the left I have drawn a picture of a magnifying glass focusing the beams of the sun to a singular point and burning a piece of paper (in case you needed an explanation of the picture). This describes the type of energy the Laser Wand has.
So, specifically how might one work with a Laser Wand crystal? I have played with Laser Wands in a few different ways, in each I was actually testing my ability to use my energy to move something or to affect a change. You will want to be sure to clear, cleanse and program your Laser Wand crystal before playing.
For the first way, it is handy to have a guinea pig, you will see why in a minute. To begin, hold a Laser Wand crystal with your dominant hand (for me that is right), and position it like you would hold a pencil. Your intention is to get your partner (aka guinea pig) to feel your touch without you actually touching them (to feel your energy, which is amplified with the energy of the crystal). To begin, set this intention clearly (you can do this out loud or silently). Next, ask the crystal to assist you with this intention. Collectively choose a spot on your partner’s body (we choose forearm) to begin. Have your partner close their eyes and clear their energy field. Begin to “draw” lines on your partner’s forearm in the chosen area, being careful not to touch any hairs (so you are sure the touch is from energy, not inadvertent hair wiggling). Ask your partner for feedback on whether they can feel anything, and where they feel it, what shape you drew, etc. You may also want to incorporate a Q-tip or cotton swab, and alternate touching with the swab physically (very lightly) and “touching” with energy to see if your partner can feel the difference.
The Second way I have played with Laser Wand crystals is to move the flame on a candle. I have increased and decreased the flame as well as moving it toward and away from the crystal. As you know, these are all things which a person can do with or without a crystal, but it is fun to incorporate the extra boost the amplifying energy a crystal lends to the process. To do each of these, remember to set your intention, program your crystal and then begin!
The final way I have played with Laser Wand crystals takes a little longer to see results, so you have to be a patient person (I tend to be not-so-much). It also requires that you have a boo boo (or two, so you can “treat” one, but not the other to compare changes). Please don’t create a boo boo on yourself to do this, it is only for if you have pre-existing boo boos!! After cleansing your crystal (and charging if needed), program the crystal with the intention that you want to heal this small wound with the assistance of the Laser Wand. Hold the crystal in the same way you did for the first “partner touching” game to begin with, and you will find that the best grip for you will develop as you go along. Using the same technique as you did with your partner, use the Laser Wand to “sew” up the edges of your injury. (I had a little mosquito bite scab which I treated.) This is where it is handy if you have two injuries, so you can compare the speed in which the area heals (treated versus untreated). If you only have one, simply compare to how long your wounds have typically tended to heal in the past. I found that the treated wounds healed 2 to 3 times faster. There was one occasion where the wound disappeared overnight. (It wasn’t big, just a scratch, but it did heal much more quickly than usual). You decide how many times you want to apply this treatment, you may shoot for 3 to 5 minutes at a time and 2 to 3 times a day. You may do it more or less depending on your patience and attention span.
So, those are just some ways of working with your Laser Wand crystal. I did spend more time on how to work with this crystal than in other crystal types, mostly because there aren’t as many physical variations to cover in Laser Wands. The only real variation is in overall size of the crystal. If you have a single point with a wide base and a tiny termination (in relation to the base), you have a Laser Wand.
I hope you have enjoyed this discussion of Laser Wand crystals. Next week we’ll discuss crystals with Lineated Faces and Lineated Sides.
Here is a recap of the past posts featuring the metaphysical configurations and links to where you might find these various crystal configurations if you decided you might like to work with them:
LASER WAND (For Extremely Precise Energy Direction) purchase Laser Wand
DOW or TRANS-CHANNELER CRYSTALS (For divine balance, and a connection with the self and Universal Truth.) Note: Dow crystals are rare, and I don’t always have very many of them. Sometimes the ones I have are Dow by count (7-3-7-3-7-3) but have one large 7-sided face (present as a Channeler) or two large 7-sided faces and one small 7 (present as a Transmitter). If you order one, I will let you know at time of purchase what I have available. purchase DOW or TRANS-CHANNELER crystal read blog post
DOLPHIN CRYSTAL (To encourage teaching in a loving, fun, joyful way, or alternately, to assist one to enjoy learning) read blog post
See you next week for Lineated quartz crystals.
